A Steinway artist, Chinese pianist Xiaohan Wang is increasingly becoming a leading figure in the classical music world in his native country as well as abroad. He is Artistic Director in the Arthur Rubinstein International Youth Piano Competition and the Singapore International Piano Competition, and has recently been appointed Head of Piano at the Tianjin Juilliard School Pre-College and professor of chamber music for the post-graduate. As a soloist, Wang has performed hundreds of concerts at many acclaimed international music halls, namely the German Bavarian Broadcasting Symphony Hall, Russian Tchaikovsky Concert Hall and Israel Tel Aviv Mann Auditorium. As a talented chamber musician, Wang has collaborated and performed with cellist Misha Maisky, the Jerusalem Quartet and the Takács Quartet. Wang is a versatile artist as pianist, conductor and composer, with impressive success. Presently a piano professor at the Beijing Central Conservatory of Music, he is frequently invited to give master classes and lectures at notable institutions at home and abroad, including the Juilliard School, New England Conservatory, Hannover Hochschule für Musik und Theater and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
