Music in PyeongChang hereby issues the following notice regarding the scheduled appearances of cellist Ettore Pagano in Concert 15: Reflection to Friction and Outreach Concert 10: Jiyoon Lee & Ettore Pagano & Do-Hyun Kim of the 2026 Music in PyeongChang.

We would first like to express our sincere gratitude to all audience members who have supported the Festival and purchased tickets for these performances.

Music in PyeongChang entered into an engagement agreement with Mr. Pagano in advance for his performances scheduled on July 30 (Thu) and July 31 (Fri), 2026, and has been preparing for these concerts accordingly.

However, following the signing of the agreement, issues arose concerning the artist's management and his Korean tour schedule after his victory at the Queen Elisabeth Competition. Since then, the Festival has made every effort to resolve the matter and ensure that the performances could proceed as planned.

Unfortunately, as we have not yet received confirmation of the artist's final travel and performance schedule, Mr. Pagano's appearance at the Festival has become uncertain.

The concerts themselves will proceed as scheduled, and we are currently reviewing all possible alternatives. We will provide an update as soon as a final decision has been made, and ticket holders for the affected performances will be notified individually.

We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this situation may cause to those who were looking forward to Mr. Pagano's performances. If you wish to cancel your reservation, a full refund will be available as outlined below.
